In 2004, four wacky and unassuming women thought a fun way to spend Sunday evenings was to eat dinner together and jam a bit. As time progressed, friendships formed and original music followed. They termed themselves 'The Mollymawks' and began playing Sacramento venues including Marilyn's on K, Fox & Goose, It's a Grind, Club 21 and the Sacramento Brewing Company. Their unique sound blends up-front vocals with acoustic guitar, keyboard, bass, and drums, in an eclectic mix of songs ranging from raw, introspective ponderings to pop-sensibility grooves, driving rhythms and everything in-between. As their friend Randi says, "Watching the Mollymawks perform is like tipping a beer with four warm friends and having an intimate conversation about love and life."

Yadao's talent is no secret here in Sacramento - she has been entertaining audiences in high-energy club bands all her life, most recently with Roni & the Flight. Her new CD Better Part of Me showcases her passion for music in a big way. As a Singer-songwriter, Yadao has come into her own. Expect a unique musical journey ranging from driving rock to sultry vocal stylings.
