Volunteers aren't just the life blood of our
organization - they ARE our organization!
Lambda Players, an all-volunteer organization, has been bringing LGBT-relevant live theater to the Sacramento community for over 20 years. We believe that the LGBT community - our community - works best when we all work together to make it work. In the Lambda Players, every cast member, director, and stage manager, every sound and lighting technician, every set builder, usher and box office attendant - is a dedicated volunteer. Even the board of directors is made up of a small but energetic group of volunteers.
So, if you have a little time and energy, and a lot of passion, we'd love for you to join us. John Garlock is our Volunteer Coordinator. To email him, please visit our contact page and click on the link by his name.
General Volunteer Opportunities: Includes painting/set construction, ushering, and other general volunteer activities - no special skills required.
Technical Opportunities: If you have experience and/or training with theater tech, including sound and lighting, special effects, etc.
Casting/Directing Opportunities: If you're interested in auditioning for upcoming productions (acting experience helpful, but not required), or if you have experience as a director.
See you at the show!
